Cortés Invited Back to Blue Valley CAPS for Portfolio Review Dec. 17th

The CAPS program of the Blue Valley school district in Overland Park, Kansas, has invited Julie Cortés back in to review the portfolios of students currently studying digital design and photography. Last month, Julie went to speak to the students about portfolio development, freelancing, and LinkedIn profiles.

The CAPS (Center for Advanced Professional Studies) program represents the collaboration of education, business and community, providing students with a unique, immersive experience, resulting in highly-skilled, adaptable, global innovators and leaders.

In the Digital Design & Photography strand, students develop communication, project management and the professional skills necessary to succeed in today’s creative business environment. They build professional portfolios, LinkedIn profiles, résumés and cover letters to be used for college applications, internships, and for employment.
